The residents have braved the chilly weather and been out in our cosy minibus to enjoy drives around our local seafronts of Bognor and Littlehampton and sightseeing around beauiful Arundel and it's castle. We are are looking forward to warmer times to visit parks, garden centres and anywhere else our residents and mini bus wish to take us.

It was a pleasure to welcome a new member, C, to the session and hear the group's memories of winters past, from C's family holidays in Kent trudging through deep snow, something A remembered well too as he was brought up in Kent. J recalled snowy starts in the Meon Valley and arriving a couple of minutes late for work in Portsmouth with no locals believing his tales of snow covered paths and lanes over the hill! 🌨️ ❄️![]()

We read a number of poems together including the beautiful classic 'The North wind doth blow' and marvelled at nature's wonders, from Swallow migrating miles South and Honey bees hibernating to learning that snails hibernate in their shells by adding a slimy doorway to seal the entrance... who knew?![]()

Nyton House was full of fun, laughter music and dancing today.The Gables enjoyed our first visit by The Aldingbourne Trust who treated us to a mini pantomime of Peter Pan followed by some amazing singing. These fantasic group of people are supported by the trust were from the 'performing arts and community group' which are based at Aldingbourne Country Centre.Thank you all so much for coming.We are looking forward to your next visit.![]()
In the afternoon the house lounge listened the piano being played by Alistair a friend of one of our residents a delightful afternoon of music which was enjoyed by everyone.![]()
