So nice to see the residents from The Gables getting out in the sun after so much rain. Jane, Peter and Jenna took a walk around the gardens and pond looking for the ducks which have returned. We can't wait to get back out in the minibus now the weather is starting to improve. Such a beautiful day.
The Coach House enjoyed Cookery Club this afternoon and made their favorite supper Ham, cheese and pepper Pizza. Everyone helped to prepare the dough and chop the ingredients and after baking came the best bit, the taste test delicious.
A wonderful afternoon of music and dancing in The Gables this afternoon as the residents enjoyed a return visit from the amazing Alice Rees. We all remembered old friends and fun times while we remenisenced and danced to music from Doris Day to Connie Francis to name a few. Thankyou Alice for another lovely afternoon.
On a sunny afternoon in the conservatory we enjoyed a craft session with help from Tracey and Sam. We created pictures of cats using buttons which turned out looking very effective,Geoff decided to do an individual drawing of a cat. Well done everyone.
