Welcome To
Nyton House

Nyton House is a family run residential home for the elderly, situated on the fringe of Aldingbourne, the 17th Century village just outside the cathedral City of Chichester, West Sussex

The Queen Anne period, red brick building, retaining many of its original features sits elegantly in its 3.5 acres of grounds, where warm sunlit gardens with mature trees throw long shadows over the sprawling lawns and a large duck pond.

Everything from the old sundial high above the front door to the beautifully carved staircase speaks of a timeless grace.

May I give you heartfelt thanks for all your kindness to GM during her long stay at Nyton House.  You all looked after her with love and consideration – always treating her as an individual with her own particular needs.  Nyton House care is very special in every way - I do appreciate all the hard work involved in maintaining such as high standard.  EN

"Warm thanks to you and your staff for making me feel so welcome. It was so good to meet Felicity, and to pick up the threads of friendship with Mary. I am bowled over by Nyton House. It is certainly the best residential care home that I have ever visited. You can expect an application in the near future! My friend seems much more settled and as far as I can tell she is delighted with her new and splendid room - and so she should be!"

I know how much she appriciated every single number of staff and her fellow residents. She could not have been in a better place for the great love and attention you showed her. Thanks also for the cups of tea on our visits. MA

My Mother has just returned from a short stay at Nyton House.  Her only complaint, which is usual wherever she goes, is the chef does not know the meaning of a small portion but then Mother now likes her meals on a tea plate! We found the house, room, communal area lovely.  Even lovelier was the warm welcome from the Manager and her lovely staff.  Friendly warm and nicely respectful, none of the ‘darlin’ sometimes found at homes that whilst the care had been good, slightly lacked what Nyton House had).  The grounds are beautiful and we felt like we were leaving Mum at a country hotel yet family home.  So if you are looking for superb care a cut above the rest then Nyton House is the place.  Selfishly I did wonder if it’s in our best interest to promote this home as I hope to place Mum in here for future respite visits.

Friends & family are welcome to call unannounced at any time & residents are treated with the greatest care, respect & compassion. Over the last 6 months of visiting, I've never heard a raised voice & the overall atmosphere is of one big family.  A great feeling of warmth & genuine affection between both staff & Residents.  Nyton House gives you hope….
